Home
Home is where the heart is. At the moment my home is empty except for my three little dogs, Lhasa Apso, two females and a male. They are warm and nice companions. One talks to me. You may think she is growling but I know when she growls.
I pull the covers up over the pillow when I get up in the morning. She pulls them down but this time I was folding laundry and it wasn't time to go to bed. I pointed my finger at her and said, "Now why did you do that? You know you are not supposed to do that." She sat up on the bed and put her paws together and bounced them up and down to emphasize her words, then proceeded to tell me her side of it. The louder I got the louder she got. She knew I couldn't go to bed until those covers were pulled down.
I grew up in a happy home in spite of the fact that my father was not part of the picture. There were problems, like other families had but God helped us to work them out. When I married God blessed our marriage with three little ones, a girl and two boys.
Those were also happy times. Our home was full of children. I have said many times. "You haven't lived until you have gardened, raised animals and raised a family." Now they have their own famiies and the house is empty again.
But soon I will join those who have preceded me in death. Oh, what a glorious meeting in my heavenly home that will be. I will be reunited with my husband, daughter, mother, grandpaarents and all the others who have gone ahead of me.
If if is the rapture I will drop my clothes and float off into the wild blue yonder to my new heavenly home. Praise the Lord!
